My wife and I had the very good fortune to locate a house under construction being built by Harmony Homes and Jerry Berger. We had a completely satisfying and easy experience in working with Mr. Berger. Even though the house was nearly completed, Jerry was extremely accommodating and willing to work with us on changes and additions. His attention to even the smallest of details and follow up to insure all was perfectly accomplished was excellent. In addition, Jerry has proven on several occasions his complete honesty in our dealings. We feel that we have a very well designed and constructed home. When a corporate relocation brought us to Houston in the summer of 2004, we were allotted four days for househunting, a daunting task for a couple unfamiliar with this huge, sprawling city and it's endless possibilities. Happily, we quickly discovered Bellaire and knew we had found a place to call home. All that remained was to find the perfect house.
Our realtor took us to see a beautiful new home built by Harmony Builders, and from the moment we pulled up to the curb, we had a feeling that our househunting days were behind us. After a complete tour, there was no doubt that we had indeed found the perfect house. The builder's craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident in every room, and it was obvious that much care had gone into selecting exactly the right amenities to suit the house. We moved into our new home that summer, excited and confident that we had made the right decision.
Our lasting relationship with the builder himself has been an added bonus over the years. Jerome Berger of Harmony Builders is a man who truly stands by his work. Whenever we call him with a question or request, his response is always the same, "I'll be right over." He remains committed to his clients and is always just a phone call away.
We consider ourselves very fortunate to own a home built by Harmony Builders, and we hope to enjoy what we affectionately refer to as our "Jerry House" for years to come.

I had the distinct pleasure of purchasing my home from Harmony Builders back in 2002 in Bellaire, TX. I can't begin to tell you all the wonderful features about my custom home, but suffice it to say, I have been extremely satisfied with my purchase. The structure is completely brick (on all 4 sides), which from the numerous choices I considered, is an anomaly (as most structures I looked at were brick on the front with wood siding on the remaining 3 sides). All the exterior wood trim is hardy plank which again lends itself to minimal maintenance. Tall ceilings with substantial crown & floor moldings abound throughout on both the first and second floors. Custom cabinetry, granite counter tops and niches with granite and lighting were additional features I didn't see in other properties I considered.
Jerry is extremely diligent on following up on any maintenance issues (suffice it to say, they were minor) that always crop up with new houses.
Additionally, he has been a great resource to add upgrades (I replaced the carpet in the master bedroom with tile and used his team to do so). Recently, I called him to get my door on my fence repaired, as well as have some live oaks in the front trimmed. Again, he supplied his team to do the work.
I only wish all my purchases were as easy as this one.
