Born and raised in Houston, a proud graduate of Bellaire High School, Jerome calls the Houston area home. Always intrigued by architecture and design, he began taking classes at the University of Texas in Austin. Circumstances dictated that he return to Houston before graduation, but his artistic eye and creativity would not be halted. Jerome began a nearly thirty year career designing and creating fine jewelry, and for many of those years, he did repairs and manufacturing for quite a number of exclusive jewelry stores in Houston and surrounding areas. He has made a host of loyal, lifelong friends from being in the jewelry business.
Approximately ten years ago, the opportunity to "build" on a larger scale was made available to Jerome in the form of six patio style homes in Bellaire. Building these homes was the perfect opportunity for him to learn the construction business, literally, from the ground up. He was, and still is, at each construction site every day, paying close attention to each and every phase of construction. By the time those homes were completed, the building bug had firmly bitten Jerome. He then began building one home at a time in Bellaire, often staying late into the evenings to complete his jewelry work.
After continuing at this pace for a few years, with much trepidation, the decision was made to close up shop at the jewelry store and concentrate on building custom homes. His reputation, quality of work, and attention to detail has allowed Jerome to continue building beautiful, artful, and elegant homes in Bellaire.
He has built one home on Canyon Lake and in the beautiful Texas Hill Country as well. His current projects are a custom home in Bellaire, a spec home in Bellaire, a re-build in Piney Point Village, and a remodel in Piney Point.
Needless to say, Jerome is a man known for his hands-on attitude, strong work ethic, honesty, integrity, and skill as a builder. As with his customers in the jewelry business, he enjoys close relationships and friendships with each homeowner.
